To be compliant with PA Health Department and CDC Guidelines, and the Governor’s and Health Secretary’s directives, the following protocols will be in place for public meetings until further notice:
A face covering is required for all attendees
Body temperature will be taken prior to meeting admission for all attendees. Those with an indicated body temperature of 100.4 degrees F or greater will not be allowed entrance.
Meeting agendas and previous meeting minutes will be available outside of the meeting room.
If you are unable to attend or are denied access to a meeting please forward your public comments to the Township Manager using mail, the drop box located in front of the Township Building, or email@example.com

Due to the rapidly evolving coronavirus #COVID19 situation, the Berks County Department of Emergency Services is providing current information and recommendations. Please visit their web page to stay up to date.
The Washington Township Office is open to the public, but you are still encouraged to use our locked black drop box, which is located at the main entrance of the building.
All township sewer payments, tax payments, and permit applications can be placed in this locked black dropbox, using the lower slot located inside the pull-down door. If you would like a receipt, please include an addressed, stamped envelope with your payment.

There will be No Recycling Events at the Red Barn Recycling Center during July.
