Washington Township officials have received reports of motor vehicle activities occurring in the Township’s parks. The vehicles in question include snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles (“four-wheelers”), and trucks driving outside of designated areas. Please be advised that the operation of snowmobiles or any other motorized vehicles, except automobiles and trucks in designated areas, is prohibited in all Washington Township parks, recreation, and open space areas. Individuals who violate this provision are subject to a fine of up to $600.00, plus court costs.
If you witness this activity, please report it to the PA State Police, Berks County Crime Alert, and/or Washington Township Manager. Please note that Berks County Crime Alert offers rewards of up to $5,000.00 for tips that lead to conviction.
